With the departure of one of our team members to the Big Ben, and a bite from the travelling bug, the week just gone has mostly been a maintenance and ‘behind the scenes’ release.
We have made some minor updates to the Android UI, including better debug message handling, enhancements to the permissions web view, and better usage of errors.
The iPhone lib is also making some great progress and will be open sourced soon, it has been delayed due to a sickness in one of our team member’s family, and I think you can all agree that family comes first!
And the server team has been working hard on making sure we have a great set of integration tests, testing from start to finish; connect, add a permission, publish, and check the publish on Facebook and Twitter. With this in place, we now have peace of mind with any and all changes that we make!
The more exciting topic is ‘what does this week have in stall for PinkelStar?’
There are four things on our radar for this week, and a little of next;
1. Get that iPhone UI library open sourced
2. Make the dashboard better for all
3. Add iPad support post haste
4. Add LinkedIn as another network for sharing too
In fact, number four is an exciting one because this is the test bed for us on how easy it is to add another network with our new ‘Network Connector’ architecture. Our plan is to open source the connectors template so developers can give us a helping hand to add connectors they want lickity split. Expect to hear more on this in the coming months!
Anyhow, as always, if you have some feedback please don’t hesitate to drop us a line at support@pinkelstar.com.
Have a great week,
The PinkelStar Team
